Our take
I got these for my 3-year-old who's just started kicking a ball around. The TPU sole provides decent traction on grass, and the EVA insole offers a bit of cushion for little feet. The mesh and PVC upper is breathable but feels a bit stiff out of the box. After a few wears, they softened up. The lace-up closure is nice for adjusting the fit, but tying tiny laces on a wiggly toddler can be a chore. At $30, they're reasonably priced for a specialty toddler shoe. My only concern is durability – the mesh may not hold up to rough play. For casual use on firm ground, they work well.
